New York Liberty Win the 2024 WNBA Championships

The WNBA league, founded in 1996 with the first season starting in 1997, just concluded it’s most historic season ever with record fan attendance and heavy interest. The now-defunct Houston Comets won the 1st four seasons.
And why did it take this long for the league to have this type of season? Could it be:
Caitlin Clark’s college stats
Caitlin and Angel Reese rivalry
A top notch 2024 draft class
A larger than ever social media presence
And the teams’ management are making moves which includes a record number of coach firings and general manager GM changes.
Was it the right call to fire Indiana’s Christie Sides? She had no game plan for Caitin Clark and the team figured it out themselves to jell together.
Was it the right call to fire Chicago’s Teresa Witherspoon? Angel Reese did say she only came to Chicago because of her and the season proved that because the focused seem to be on Reese only.
And why are we seeing this? For one, it could be the new media-rights deals coming, which can give much needed cash to teams. Teams are not messing around after this explosive season.
Will the 2025 season be just as explosive? Will the 2025 draft class be just as good as the 2024?
